Livingroom

Living Room: a difficult room to furnish with the large scale fireplace and dark wood walls and ceiling with bright light coming from the ocean through the west windows. Only one fabric seemed to hold its own, a embroidered wool on cotton crewel for the matching sofas. Beautiful antiques and reproduction pieces add character and texture to the strong surroundings. Slender wood blinds hold back the sunset rays.
