To Prospective Clients

A little bit of my history: I was born into the interior design business. My grandfather started an antique and interior design business, Cannell & Chaffin, in Los Angeles in 1917 catering to the likes of William R. Hearst and other celebrities. I started my design career there after receiving my degree and joining the American Society of Interior Designers. I enjoyed designing for some fascinating clients, thru the family business, until my move to Telluride in 1981, where I opened my own interior business.

There I enjoyed a varied and exciting 17 years of design in the Colorado Rockies before moving two years ago to the Mendocino Coast, so I could garden year round. In Telluride, Rustic Cabin, Southwestern, Victorian and the Mountain Fantasy theme design is the nature of my business. In Los Angeles it was English and French Country, as well as all sorts of traditional and contemporary design.

I have worked on projects all over the country and shopped in most of the major markets. The majority of my jobs are high end residential. I have jobs going here in Northern California as well as in Telluride. I do alot of long distance design jobs as well as local work. It's the inspirational theme that calls to me!
